Savant Adds to Rockford Team, Recognizes Current Employee
ROCKFORD, IL (December 7, 2017) – Savant Capital Management, a nationally-recognized fee-only wealth management firm, has added Stephanie Abbott, Mallory Cwynar, Michael Homan, and Rachel Schmitz to its Rockford office and recognized Diane Peters for earning the Professional Certified Marketer® certification.
Stephanie Abbott joined Savant as the digital marketing communications coordinator. She is a member of the Administrative Team and is responsible for managing the firm’s search engine marketing, website content, blogs, newsletters, social media, and presentations.
Abbott has been involved in the marketing and communications industry since 2007. She earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in communication with emphasis in organizational communication and persuasion from Western Illinois University.
Mallory Cwynar joined Savant as an accountant/payroll coordinator. She is a member of the Administrative Team and is responsible for a variety of financial functions, including employee payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and processing financial reports.
Cwynar has been involved in the financial services industry since 2013. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and information systems from Drake University.
Michael Homan joined Savant as a trader and is a member of the Investment Team. He is responsible for processing trades, cash management, and portfolio rebalancing. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management with a minor in business administration from North Central College.
Rachel Schmitz joined Savant as an administrative assistant for the Retirement Plan Services Team. She is responsible for performing a multitude of tasks to support the servicing of retirement plan clients. Schmitz earned an associate of arts degree from Rock Valley College and a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Northern Illinois University.
Marketing Specialist Diane Peters earned the Professional Certified Marketer® (PCM®) certification from the American Marketing Association (AMA), the largest professional marketing association in the world. The PCM® certification is based on the responsibilities of and knowledge needed by today’s marketing professionals and covers fundamental marketing topics like branding, integrated marcom, advertising, public relations, social media, analytics, ethics, and more. Peters is a member of the Administrative Team.
